I was putting my 4 y.o. girl to sleep and reading to her bedtime stories. We then were discussing about plans for her birthday. Then this conversation happened:
AA: Mama punya birthday lambat lagi ye?
Me: Iyer, tapi AA dgn abah tak remember Mama's birthday, kek pun tak de.
(Encik Suami almost never remembers those important dates, be it anniversary or birthdays. Dah almost pasrah in this case.)
AA: Sabarlah mama, nanti AA besar, AA beli mama present. AA kecik lagi, tak boleh pergi beli sendiri, nanti orang tangkap AA nanti. Mama sayang AA kan?
Me: Sayang... (Dalam hati - dah pandai menjawab budak nie) :D
